This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data when you use View Resume. Please read it together with our Terms of Service.

SPACESHOTS TECHNOLOGIES (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED (CIN U62099ME2026OPC475196), a One Person Company incorporated in India with its registered office at Flat No. 304-305, Swapna Uday Complex, Mhalginagar, Nagpur, Nagpur - 440034, Maharashtra, India (the “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), operates the View Resume product and the website at viewresume.info (the “Service”).
We act as a Data Fiduciary in respect of the personal data we determine the purpose and means of processing. We are committed to handling your personal data responsibly and in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”), the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder, and other applicable Indian law.
2. Scope
This Policy applies to personal data we process about visitors, registered users, and prospective users of the Service. It does not apply to third-party websites, products, or services that we do not control, even where they are linked from the Service.
3. Definitions
Terms such as “Data Principal”, “Data Fiduciary”, “Data Processor”, “personal data”, and “processing” have the meanings given to them under the DPDP Act. “You” refers to the Data Principal whose personal data is processed. “Content” means the information you provide to or generate through the Service, including resume and profile details and job descriptions you submit.
4. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Account information: your name, email address, and authentication credentials when you create an account.
- Resume and profile content: the work history, education, skills, achievements, and other details you add to build your resume or public profile. You decide what to include; please do not submit information you do not wish to process.
- Job descriptions: the job postings or descriptions you paste so that the Service can tailor a resume and generate a match score.
- Public profile content: information you choose to publish on a public profile or subdomain.
- Payment information: where you purchase a paid plan, billing details are collected and processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store complete card or bank account numbers.
- Usage, device, and log data: information about how you interact with the Service, including IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and timestamps, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
- Connected sources: where you choose to link an external source (for example, a code or portfolio profile), the information you authorise us to import.
5. How we use information
We process personal data to:
- provide, operate, and maintain the Service and your account;
- generate tailored resumes, keyword matching, and ATS match scores from the Content you submit;
- process payments and manage subscriptions;
- respond to your enquiries and provide customer support;
- send service-related communications and, where you have consented, updates about new features;
- maintain the security and integrity of the Service and prevent fraud and abuse; and
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
6. AI processing and training
The Service uses artificial intelligence to analyse the Content you submit and to generate tailored resumes and related outputs. Your Content may be processed by trusted third-party model providers acting as our Data Processors under written contracts that require confidentiality and restrict use of the data to delivering the Service to you.
We do not use your Content to train artificial intelligence models, and we instruct our model providers not to use your Content to train their models. Your Content is processed solely to provide the Service to you.
7. Grounds for processing
We process personal data on the basis of your consent and for the legitimate uses permitted under the DPDP Act, including where processing is necessary to provide a service you have requested. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time as described in the “Your rights” section, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
10. Data retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter only for so long as is necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When personal data is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it.
11. Data security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational security measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. For more detail, see our Security page. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Your rights
Subject to the DPDP Act, you have the right to:
- access a summary of the personal data we process about you;
- seek correction, completion, or updating of your personal data;
- seek erasure of your personal data;
- nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity;
- withdraw consent previously given; and
- have your grievances addressed through our redressal mechanism.

15. International transfers
We may process and store personal data on servers located outside India, including through our service providers. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we do so in accordance with applicable law and take steps to ensure an appropriate level of protection.
16. Public profiles
If you publish a public profile or subdomain, the information you choose to make public will be accessible to others and may be indexed by search engines. Please do not include information in a public profile that you do not wish to be publicly available. You can unpublish or edit your public profile at any time.
